About AIChE/SBE
The Johns Hopkins Chapter of AIChE/SBE is a professional academic group that combines both the American Institute of Chemical Engineers with the Society for Biological Engineers.
AIChE/SBE is open to any student interested in learning more about either chemical or biological engineering and who, in turn, is looking to benefit from our events and activities.
AIChE/SBE is devoted to helping its members by helping them to connect to other students, faculty and industry professionals. AIChE/SBE is here to help its members with their networking, social, academic and professional goals by offering a wide variety of events and services throughout the school year.
With events including an ice cream social, grad school panel, game night, day of service, industry speakers, faculty-student trivia, internship panel, plant tours and more, we are excited to serve our members in any way we can. Becoming active in our group will not only help you to improve your networking with peers, professors and industry but will also look great on any resume since it is a professional chapter of a national organization!
